The SOLINA STRING ENSEMBLE recreates the lush, chorus-drenched string sound that defined a generation of recordings, with a genuine 49-voice polyphonic analog engine behind it. Its built-in BBD chorus and vintage phase shifter are essential to that signature wash of sound, not optional extras, and Eurorack compatibility means it can integrate directly into a modular setup. For anyone chasing that instantly recognisable analog string pad, the SOLINA is the real thing.

Features:

  • Authentic reproduction of original ARP/Eminent Solina MK II circuitry
  • Legendary chorus ensemble effect featuring multistage bucket-brigade devices (BBDs) for rich and lively sounds
  • Authentic and classic phase shifter modelled after Small Stone
  • Dedicated rate control and separate colour switch for fine-tuning of effects speed and tone
  • String section featuring violin, viola, trumpet, horn, cello and contrabass instruments
  • Original 13-tone generator with octave divide-down technology to provide 49-voice polyphony
  • 16 controls provide direct, real-time access to all important parameters
  • Chorus ensemble and phase shifter featuring input/output connectors for independent use
  • Comprehensive MIDI implementation with MIDI channel and voice priority selection
