The ULTRAVOICE UV1 is a single-channel mic preamp and vocal channel strip built for performers and home-studio users who want a polished, processed vocal without stacking together separate outboard units. A Midas-designed preamp with up to 60dB of clean gain feeds a built-in processing chain: compressor, de-esser, dynamic enhancer and expander, all routed straight into a 192kHz/24-bit USB interface for recording. The UV1 packs a complete vocal chain and audio interface into one compact unit, giving voice-over artists and podcasters a genuinely complete recording path without a rack full of separate gear.

Features:

  • Pristine Midas-designed preamplifier for all microphone and line-level sources
  • Suited to studio, live and professional recording environments
  • High-quality microphone processor allows you to optimise your recordings
  • Audiophile 192kHz USB audio interface to connect directly to your computer
  • Effective de-esser for quick removal of excessive sibilance from your vocal track
  • Integrated dynamic enhancer restores high frequencies lost through compression
  • True RMS expander for smooth noise reduction
  • Send and return connectors allow you to add external processors
  • Input/playback mix control to balance between direct monitor and USB playback signal
  • Accurate LED metering for level and processing indication
  • Illuminated switches support easy operation in dark stage and studio environments
  • Internal switch-mode power supply (100โ€“240V) for noise-free audio and low power consumption
