Ibanez Artist AR-300 Cherry Sunburst 1981 (CIJ) (w/ OHSC)

First debuted in 1974, The Ibanez Artist series was a Les Paul Double Cut-focused competitor with custom appointments such as flame caps, multi-ply binding and advanced pickup switching. These are absolutely phenomenal guitars and represent some of the finest luthierie Fujigen had to offer in the 70s and 80s.

This example is in exceptional condition for its age and is free from any major cracks, breaks or binding rot that some of these are susceptible to. It has only minor modifications made including a refret, an extra hole drilled in the pickup ring and a few replaced screws. Aside from this, this Artist is all original and plays and sounds great. We've professionally dressed the frets and given the guitar a full complete service and setup. The tri-sound switches work perfectly and the pickups sounds incredible. As an added bonus, it comes with it's original hard shell case!

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $12 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
