Made in the Dyna Gakki factory in the early 2010s based on the serial number, this '69 reissue Mustang in Old Candy Apple Red pays tribute to the classic late-1960s Fender Mustang. Featuring a sleek basswood body, a 24" short scale neck with a slim "C" profile and a rosewood fretboard, this guitar delivers vintage style and sound with contemporary playability. The vibrant Old Candy Apple Red finish, white pearloid pickguard, and nickel plated hardware evoke the retro aesthetic of the original Mustang, while the dual single-coil pickups and dynamic vibrato tailpiece offer the signature Mustang tonal versatility and feel beloved by alternative and indie rock players. 

This Mustang features a 24" maple neck with a 40mm nut width making it perfect for students or those with smaller hands. Shorter scale means a slinky feel and easy bends as well as fast playability, and this neck is perfect for those looking for classic Mustang feel. 22 narrow frets are present with very little playwear evident with approximately 95% fret life left.

The original pickups are Fender Japan MG single coils measuring 5.6kOhms in both the neck and bridge positions, delivering clear, bright tones with plenty of mid-range body and low end. Expect plenty of chime and articulation that makes this guitar great for surf, garage rock and jangly indie styles. Crank up the gain and these pickups cut through the mix with sharp attack and vintage-style breakup that responds well to dynamic playing. All electronics are original and fully functional, including the classic Mustang pickup phase-switching system, giving you a huge range of tonal options!

In excellent condition for its age, this MG69 Mustang has been professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s. Playing like absolute butter, the neck is straight, the intonation is perfect and the action is smooth. Condition wise, a few tiny dings on the headstock are the worst of it but no finish chipping is present and the rest of the guitar presents almost perfectly with only a few small scuffs here and there and some pitting on the nickel hardware. Sans tremolo arm. Comes with a gig bag!
