Made by Australian guitar company SX and finished in a rich transparent wine red with sleek chrome hardware, the SX SWB1 TWR is a sleak, Warick-style workhorse designed to punch well above its price tag. Built with an arched mahogany body, this bass has the weight and warmth to deliver a full-bodied tone, while the double-cut design offers excellent upper fret access. Whether you're starting out or need a reliable backup for the stage, this one covers a lot of ground without costing a fortune.

The neck is a relatively thick but fast mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, featuring a comfortable medium "C" profile in a high gloss polyester finish. It has a 12" fretboard radius, pearloid dot inlays and 24 medium frets, delivering smooth playability up and down the neck. Fret life is solid at 90% with almost no wear visible.

Loaded with a Jazz Bass style pickup in the neck and a beefy Music Man style humbucker in the bridge, the SWB1 uses an active 2-band preamp with volume, balance, bass, and treble controls for versatile tone shaping. From tight slap tones to thick low-end growl, it’s capable of handling anything from funk to metal with a wide range of tonal options available.

In essentially brand new condition for its age, this bass exhibits virtually no wear and tear at all apart from some light swirling in the clear coat. Frets, electronics and hardware are in great shape and the bass has been setup with 45-105s for optimal action and silky smooth playability.
