A far cry from a case queen, this CW80/6 was made by Maton in April of 1974 and we would surmise that is has been played a fair bit since then. There is virtually no finish left on the neck and the finish on the top, back and sides has been worn down to the bone in more than just a few spots! If this guitar could talk, we think it would have some stories to tell.

Featuring an original and extremely rare Maton embossed soundhole pickup (a factory option), solid spruce top and some of the most intense wood grain on the back of a guitar we've ever seen, this is truly a one of a kind acoustic with an incredible sound and wonderful playability.

We've just given it a professional setup with a new bone saddle, bridge pins and a set of 10-48s and it's playing like a dream. Comes with it's original Maton branded case, she's ready for another few decades of storytelling.

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $8.99 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
