Crafted in the renowned Fujigen factory in 1978, this stunning EG-800 Les Paul Standard showcases Greco's meticulous craftsmanship and determination to replicate the allure of the late 50s Les Pauls crafted by Gibson. Made just over a year before the iconic "Super Real" series was released, it boasts numerous characteristics reminiscent of those legendary instruments, including a range of premium, late 50s Gibson-inspired details.

This guitar boasts a 3-piece maple neck with cream binding and a 24.75" rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a slim and fast carve, similar to Gibson's slim taper 60s profile, making it great for fast runs and comfortable chords. It comes with original factory frets and fret nibs, medium-sized with soft crowns and minimal wear. The bone nut measures 44.5mm and retains its original Greco branded machine heads, which are in excellent working condition.

Featuring a dual set of factory loaded DiMarzio humbuckers sitting in the mid 7kOhm range, their tonal range is incredibly versatile, encompassing warm and precise cleans, as well as intense crunch and overdriven sounds. The pickups accurately replicate the iconic late 50s PAF tone, housed in a visually striking double cream design.

Professionally serviced top to bottom and professionally setup with 10-46s, the action is smooth and low with no buzzing or dead spots with fret life at approximately 95%. Condition wise, the guitar is in very good condition considering its age and has it's fair share of dings, dents and playwear. Some light lacquer chipping has occured in some areas of the neck and body, however this is typical for Grecos of this era and is completely stable and purely aesthetic. The guitar has had a replaced volume pot and Switchcraft jack socket, a brand new professionally installed bone nut and some replaced screws. Aside from this, the guitar is 100% original and in great working order. Comes with a non-original hard shell case!
