Made by Yamaha Japan in 1980, the SF7000 is a beautifully crafted neck through guitar finished to the highest standards of Japanese craftsmanship. The SF7000 was the highest tiered catalog electric guitar from Yamaha Japan at the time, and boasts neck through construction, maple top and beautifully carved edges for an extremely comfortable playing experience. Patented as the T-Cross System, the construction technique used is highly advanced and adds a great amount of rigidity and stability to the guitar. Plenty of tonal options available through the SGH-1SOB humbuckers wired to a set of push/push tone pots to allow for coil-splitting capability on either or both pickups in tandem.

Playability is fantastic on the 24.75" 3 piece neck with ebony fingerboard with beautiful inlay work and a profile that is on the slimmer side of a medium D shape. 42mm nut width with jumbo frets, fretlife is at approximately 85% with very light pitting present.

Overall in incredible condition for its age with only light dings and scratches present, the guitar is free from any chips, cracks or structural issues and the cherry sunburst finish is bright and vibrant. Professionally setup with 10-46s, action is low and comfortable. The guitar is 100% original aside from a replaced push/push pot and a missing intonation nut; this doesn't affect stability or playability. Comes with a gig bag!

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $8.99 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
