Crafted a mere 12 months following the inception of Japanese made Squiers (and some of the finest Japanese guitars ever made), as well as sporting a JV serial number, this CTL-50 represents some of the finest of Fujigen manufacturing and is a fantastic original piece dated very closely to some of the most collectable Japanese guitars in existence. Sporting a pencil neck date of 6-22-'83, it features a beautifully grained ash body with a see-through blonde finish, a one piece maple neck and a factory loaded set of alnico pickups for beautifully crips and full Tele tones.

This guitar is an ideallic Telecaster for anyone looking for provinance and playability, as well as vibe and tone all rolled into one package. Although the guitar wears a number of battle scars including chips, dents and scratches, these are signs of a guitar well loved in its 40 year life span before landing on Australian shores, and we can see why the previous owner loved it so much! Silkly smooth playability, crystal clear Fender tone and a killer look make this a killer axe for any player or collector.

Professionally setup and serviced with 10-46s, we've given the frets a light dress and installed a brand new Switchcraft jack socket. Frets are at a solid 95% and aside from the socket, the guitar is all original condition. Come and see what all the fuss about a JV Squier is with this bad boy!
