It's no secret that Greco in the 1980s shifted their directive from classic and accurate recreations of 50s and 60s legendary guitars, into full-on hair metal, spiky, angular and highly original and innovative designs. Their proprietary V model of the early 80s was the MTV-80, a modernistic and forward-thinking bolt-on design that was both original in form and highly playable. Offered in a range of colours, we've come across an ultra rare, non-catalog champagne gold and black tiger stripe finish!

A commanding finish that can't be ignored from even a mile away, the black and gold contrast very strongly and there is no mistaking this as the ultimate 80s hair metal machine. Not only a great looking instrument, this MTV-80 has also been modified to feature a set of ESP LH-200 humbuckers which offer up a wide variety of hard rock and metal tones. With a super fast D shaped neck, a 25.5" scale length and a locking nut and bridge system, this thing totally shreds andhas rock solid tuning stability.

In very good condition for its age with only minor dings and scratches here and there, the guitar is free from any structural issues and has been professionally setup with 10-46s for maximum playability. Frets are at a solid 98% with next to no wear at all and the guitar is all original aside from the replaced pickups, a replaced tremolo arm and a few replaced screws. Comes with a fitted leather gig bag!
