On offer is this vintage 1985 Ibanez Musician MC2924 electric bass guitar in perfect working order and absolutely original state. Manufactured at the iconic FujiGen Gakki factory in Japan, this Musician bass features an elegantly contoured body with ash wings combined with a walnut and maple neck-through structure. Weighing in at a comfortable 4.2kg, its equipped with its original standard set of Ibanez Lo-B humbuckers complemented by an active EQ circuit. The deep, resounding thump from this hefty neck-through bass is captured perfectly by the stock pickups, resulting in intense and potent tonal vibrations. The blend knob boasts three preconfigured pickup positions, with the possibility to create more nuanced variations in between the notches. As expected, the bridge position affords a concentrated low end, enhanced midrange, and a slight growl.

The 34" scale neck has a very comfortable modern D profile whilst the neck through construction offers the added benefit of easy and smooth access to the upper frets, allowing for comfortable and fast note runs in the upper register that bolt-on instruments don't often allow. Equipped with 24 medium jumbo frets, this bass has a truly fantastic note range and huge tonal versatility. The matching black headstock features a metal Musician truss rod cover, Ibanez logo, and set of Smooth Tuner BII machine heads that offer silky smooth motion.

In great and 100% original condition, the gloss black finish shows moderate amounts of wear with signs of swirling and scratches present, however all is honest wear and non-structural. Professionally setup with 45-100s, frets are at about 90% with very little wear and playability is smooth with a nice low action. Comes with its super rare original fitted case)!
