1990 Fender ST-57 Stratocaster '57 Reissue Butterscotch [ORDER MADE] (MIJ) (w/ HSC)

Established in 1980 by Makoto Nick Sugimoto, the Order Made division of the Fujigen factory manufactured unique non-catalog models of classic Fender instruments with features such as limited edition finishes, pickups and design appointments. Around 500 "Order Made" models were produced, each one unique in its own subtle (or un-subtle) ways. This particular model is a '57 Reissue in a gloriously buttery see-through butterscotch finish. A classy broad indeed, it features an alder body, chunky C maple neck, single ply guard and 3 vintage voiced alnico pickups.

The neck profile is a wonderfully chunky late 50s Fender profile, broad and hefty but very, very playable. Beautifully grained one piece maple with a skunk stripe and 21 vintage style frets with very mimimal wear at approximately 90% life. Spaghetti logo and vintage button machine heads complete the 50s aesthetic.

A trio of factory loaded alnico single coils drive the sound of this guitar and it's classic 50s Strat through and through here. Spank and sparkle, twang and bite, this guitar is capable of every Strat sound you can imagine and it does them all so well whilst being an absolute dreamboat to play.

The condition of this guitar has to be seen to be believed. You would be mistaken for thinking this 30 year old guitar just rolled off the production line at Fujigen, it is a sparkling time capsule of buttery beauty with quite literally not a single scratch on it. The frets and neck are virtually untouched by human hands. Fully set up with 10-46s, it plays like a dream and sounds incredible. Comes with a virtually brand new Mammoth hard shell case!

You won't believe it's not butter.
