1994-95 Fender Japan JM-66 Jazzmaster '66 Reissue Sunburst (MIJ Fujigen)

A classic and truly iconic design from Fender, the illustrious Jazzmaster transcends genres with its high level of versatility, elegant looks unmistakable tone. Made by the Fujigen factory in 1994-95 (based on the serial), this '66 Reissue Jazzmaster hits just right with its beautifully aged 3 tone sunburst finish, cream plastics and patina in all the right places to make this beautiful guitar ooze character and tone. Made towards the tail end of Fujigen production of Fender instruments and perfectly replicating the mid-60s look and specs, the fit and finish of this guitar is of the highest standard.

In beautifully worn in condition for its age (we would liken the vibe of this to a slightly more worn "closet classic" spec), this Jazzmaster has a beautifully crafted 25.5" scale length maple neck with a beautifully dark rosewood fingerboard which mixes nicely with the yellowed out colour pallete of this guitar. the mid-60s spec Jazzmaster pickups have a wonderful and clear chime with plenty of top end sparkle and mid-range bite. This guitar would suit a wide range of styles from jazz to punk, hard rock to metal!

Despite the wear and patina, the frets are perfectly intact with virtually no wear on them at all with easily 99% life left, with no marks and a beautifully polished look thanks to the professional service we've given the guitar. The guitar is 100% original aside from a replaced bridge and in perfect working order with no issues whatsoever. The light dings, dents and scratches reflect a guitar that's been well played but well look after and likely been in storage for a good portion of its life. If you're looking for a classic reissue of a great instrument, look no further!
