1994 Fender American Standard Stratocaster 40th Anniversary Edition Black (w/ OHSC)

A rather unassuming American Standard Strat from the 40th year of Stratocaster production, this Strat has all the 90s features such as offset saddles, swimming pool routed body and super fun TBX tone circuit, but with one interesting feature ... it's a factory refinish! Yes that's right, sitting underneath that piano black finish is a sparkly metallic turqoise! Now before you go thinking this has been refinished somewhere along the line, it was in fact commonplace for Fender, in their infinite cost-cutting wisdom, to simply take a body that was already finished and ... spray right on top with a different colour! If you don't believe us you can look it up. These swimming pool bodies were shared with the Strat Plus series which were finished in lots of fun metallic colours, so our best guess for this one is "Caribbean Mist". Some rub through on the arm contour reveals the colour, as well as some other spots on the body and in the cavities.

This bad boy has been professionally setup with 10-46s and has received a full fret recrown and polish for silky smooth playing. Aside from the fretwork, this guitar is all original and a total weapon with the TBX circuit allowing you to harness all sorts of epic tones. Comes with it's original moulded case!

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $12 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
