Made in the late 90s in Fender's Dyna Gakki factory, this is a beautifully crafted '65 reissue Stratocaster that's been tastefully refinished in the classic 60s colour of Shoreline Gold and is factory loaded with a trio of Texas Special alnico single coils for plenty of vintage spank and twang. Aged like a fine wine, the yellowed out plastics, mint green pickguard and period correct mid-60s features tie together to make this the perfect vintage style Strat for studio, stage or home. 

If you've played a 60s reissue, you'll be right at home on this maple neck, with a slim to medium carve, tinted high gloss finish and rolled edges on the rosewood fingerboard. Loaded with narrow 60s frets, there is light pitting visible but plenty of life left at approximately 90%. Vintage style tuners keep tuning rock solid and a metallic gold transition logo completes the 60s look.

The factory loaded Texas Special are spanky and twangy, characterized by their midrange chirp, crystalline highs and tight bass. They feature an overwound single-coil construction and alnico 5 magnets that produces big Texas-blues tone, but are more than capable of cleaning up and offering smooth jazzy tones.

Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, this '65 Strat is completely original aside from the refinish in Shoreline Gold. The finish is of a high standard, but does have some chips, scratches and dents from general playwear. Overall the instrument is in excellent condition and plays beautifully, with a wide range of tonal versatility on tap!
