A classic from Fender that needs no introduction, the Jazz Bass is a quintessential instrument in the Fender lineup and this 1962 reissue model lives up to all the hype about Japanese made Fender instruments. Made by Tokai Gakki in 1999-2002 (based on the serial), it is sporting an extremely vibrant and punchy fiesta red finish finish and two vintage style Jazz Bass single coils. It has all the vintage specs you could ask for; 7.25" radius, 39mm nut width, narrow tall frets, rosewood slab board and a nice medium C profile maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. This bass is a total weapon and plays like an absolute dream. Capable of a wide variety of sounds and styles, this Jazz is not only a real player's instrument but also looks incredible with that finish!

Just professionally setup with 45-100s, it has perfect note articulation up and down the neck with no dead spots and a smooth action. The bass itself is in great used condition for its age with no chips present, only minor swirling and a scuff here and there to keep things honest, as well as light pitting on the nickel plated hardware. Frets are at an easy 100% (barely even played!) with absolutely no wear or pitting and playability is great, vintage style pickups have a nice full tone with plenty of frequency range. The bass is free from modifications aside from the factory pickguard having been replaced with a white pearloid guard, other than this it is 100% factory original.
