Made by Dyna Gakki in the early 2000s, this is an absolutely cracking good Tele with loads of 70s vibe and historical accuracy and is a perfect example of why Fender Japan is certainly on par and in some cases better than a USA made instrument! Expertly crafted with precision and attention to detail, it sports a beautiful see-through blonde over ash body with a super comfortable one piece maple neck, as well as a swapped out set of Seymour Duncan stacked humbuckers which sound fantastic.

The neck is quartersawn maple finished in a lightly tinted polyurethane lacquer reminiscent of genuine 70s Fenders with a beautiful D style profile along the full length of the neck, not too thick and not too thin but hitting a nice median that will satisfy most players. Fender Japan differ from Fender USA in that they lacquer the neck first and then install the frets; this means the frets are incredibly clean with absolutely no lacquer overspray. This attention to detail consistenly sets Japan apart and puts them way ahead of the crowd when it comes to quality.

The pickups have been swapped out for a set of Seymour Duncan 1BX & 1NX stacked humbuckers wired to an aftermarket push/pull tone pot for coil splitting abilities. This makes this guitar incredibly dynamic as you can switch from low output Tele twang to solid, thick rock humbucker tones at the pull of a pot! Dynamic and versatile, the sound and range from these pickups is exactly what you'd expect from a quality set of Seymour Duncans.

Condition wise, the guitar is in excellent condition with only a few tiny dings and dents visible on the otherwise glossy and vibrant finish. All original aside from the replaced pickups and push/pull tone pot, the guitar has had a different set of machine heads fitted and one stage, however the original Fender Japan machine heads are back on now. Professionally setup with 10-46s, it's playing like a dream with slinky action, accurate intonation and no dead spots. Comes with a premium gig bag!
