A classic from Fender that needs no introduction, the Jazz Bass is a quintessential instrument in the Fender lineup and this 1962 reissue model lives up to all the hype about Japanese made Fender instruments. Sporting a very nicely aged ice blue metallic finish with matching headstock (!!!) and two factory loaded USA vintage style Jazz Bass single coils, it has all the vintage specs you could ask for; 7.25" radius, 38mm nut width, narrow tall frets, rosewood slab board and a nice medium C profile maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.

Just professionally setup with D'Addario 45-105s, it has perfect note articulation up and down the neck with no dead spots and a smooth action. Aesthetically, tonally and build quality wise, this bass is absolutely sublime! The bass itself is in great used condition with only light pitting on the nickel plated hardware and the odd small dent in the finish. Frets are free from any dents and pitting and seem virtually unplayed. Playability is great and the USA vintage style pickups have a nice full tone with plenty of frequency range. This one is absolutely bone stock and a truly rare and beautifully made Japanese instrument. Comes with a genuine Fender gig bag!

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $12 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
