2006 Epiphone Japan Les Paul Junior LQ Series Vintage Sunburst (w/ OHSC) (MIJ Fujigen)

Made exclusively for the Japanese market by the Fujigen factory in 2006, this is a Les Paul Junior LQ series and differs greatly from your average Epiphone Les Paul Junior. Premium grade mahogany body and neck, long neck tennon, USA electronics and genuine nitrocellose lacquer finish from top to tail. Finished to the highest of Japanese manufacturing standards, these guitars are, for all intents and purposes, Japanese made Gibsons. Trust us, that's a very good thing. If you want the feel, vibe and playability of a vintage Les Paul Junior, these have got you covered.

The neck is a nice and hefty late 50s carve, chunky but not baseball style thick; a nice in between. The premium mahogany finished in nitrocellose has a classic vintage feel to it, and the neck features a Gibson style open book headstock, silk screen logo and Gibson branded truss rod cover. Fret life is at a solid 90% with extremely minimal wear visible. An unbleached bone nut and vintage button tuners keep your tuning in check.

The original Gibson branded P90 has been swapped out in favour of a vintage style Lollar dog ear P90. Reading in the high 8kOhm range, this pickup has some serious bark and bite and will cover all of your hard rock and blues tones. Roll back the tone control and this guitar is more than capable of darker, cleaner sounds.

Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, it's playing like a dream with smooth, low action and no dead spots. Condition wise, the guitar has a few chips, nicks and dings but is free from any structural issues, cracks or breaks. Some lacquer chipping is present around the bridge posts, but apart from this the guitar is stable and in excellent condition. Comes with its original fitted hard shell case!
