Made by Fender Japan in Dyna Gakki in 2010-11 based off the serial number, on offer is a Fender J-Craft Jaguar Bass in left handed guise - a rare, Japan-exclusive model that was never offered in the U.S. domestic market. Built during the golden era of Fender’s J-Craft production, this bass showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail that made Fender Japan a favourite among collectors and working musicians alike. The classic offset Jaguar body in striking Olympic White gives it a bold, stylish look, while the full 34" scale offers classic Fender playability and comfort. This is a great offering for any south-paws looking to get their paws on a ripper bass.

The neck is a slim, fast 1-piece maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, featuring a comfortable medium "C" profile in a high gloss vintage tinted finish. It has a 9.5" fretboard radius, pearloid block inlays and 20 medium frets, delivering smooth playability up and down the neck. Fret life is solid at 100% with absolutely no wear visible. The fit and finish are exactly what you'd expect from Fender Japan; clean fretwork, solid construction, and excellent finish.

Outfitted with some of the most versatile electronics on any Japanese Fender, the Jaguar Bass cleverly makes use of the traditional Jaguar guitar layout, however the rhythm/lead circuit becomes an active/passive switch; when in the "up" position, the bass is active with treble and bass boost assigned to the thumb wheels. When "down", the thumb wheels are disengaged and the bass operates in a typical passive mode with controls on the bottom plate. Also present are 3 mini switches; on/off for each pickup and a bass cut switch which works in both active and passive mode. Translation? A LOT of tonal versatility. You won't get bored with the on-board tones of this bass, and every single tone sounds fantastic.

In essentially brand new condition for its age, this bass exhibits virtually no wear and tear at all apart from a bit of light chipping in the clear coat on the upper bout (not down to the wood). Frets, electronics and hardwear are absolutely factory perfect and the bass has been setup with 45-105s for optimal action and silky smooth playability. Lefties, don't sleep on this one. Comes with a gig bag!
