A limited special release from Fender Japan, the STR-VC Stratocaster was Fender's cool colourful experiments at the start of the 2010s, with the company dipping their toes into colour-shifting finishes which were very popular in the automotive industry at the time. These are seriously cool guitars with epic finishes and epic features to make them the ultimate Super Strats! This is the BTP version (which stands for blue to purple) and offers up an almost lake placid blue style finish which shifts to purple depending on the viewing angle.

As well as the super cool colour-shifting finishes, the STR-VC range features Alder bodies, 41mm nut widths and 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboards. They also get factory Gotoh SD91 Magnum Lock machine heads, a neck pocket cutaway for better access to high frets and a coil-split loaded bridge humbucker.

In insanely good condition and barely played at all, this is a fantastic example for players and collectors alike, with the body only showing a few light dents in the clear coat. The nickel hardware is clean and shiny, the frets are at a solid 95% with very little wear on them and the guitar is free from any cracks, breaks or structural issues. Comes with its original gig bag, paperwork and tremolo arm!
