Based off the StingRay II guitar designed by Leo Fender in the 1970s, the StingRay RS is a modern iteration of the classic design with updated features and modern playability. Featuring a lightweight Okoume body, passive electronics, and a super smooth modern tremolo for exceptional playability and performance. The StingRay RS is outfitted with Alnico 5 humbucking pickups, delivering a bold, powerful tone. This particular model was made in 2016 and finished in Ivory White, and is an exceptional player with smooth action and great tone.

Sporting a comfortable asymmetric neck made from one piece roasted figured maple, it is equipped with locking Schaller tuners, a compensated nut and 22 stainless steel frets, ensuring durability and superb tuning stability up and down the fretboard. Fret life is at a solid 100% as they're stainless steel. 

Featuring a set of custom wound Music Man humbuckers made with Alnico 5 magnets, these are a nice medium output humbucker with a wonderfully dark and jazzy neck pickup and a bridge pickup with plenty of bite and grit when overdriven. The middle position offers a nice blend of the two pickups in parallel.

Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, this RS is ready to rock straight out the case with a slick, low action and excellent playability and intonation. Condition wise, the guitar has a few nicks and dings, however all is honest wear and the guitar is in excellent overall condition. Comes with a non-original hard shell case!
