The Yamaha Revstar RSS20 Standard is a modern take on classic guitar design, merging vintage-inspired aesthetics with contemporary versatility. Built in Indonesia, this model features a maple top over a chambered mahogany back and sides, giving it a resonant, balanced tone with excellent sustain and a touch of warmth from the chambered construction. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece ensures solid intonation, and die-cast tuners maintain stable tuning under heavy playing. Its gloss polyurethane finish accentuates the sleek body contours, while the Revstar’s unique offset design and minimalist lines make it instantly recognizable both on stage and in a collection.

The 3-piece mahogany neck is set into the body with precision, carved into a comfortable medium C-profile and finished in satin polyurethane for smooth, fast playability. The 24‑3/4" scale length allows for slightly looser string tension, making bends and vibrato effortless, while the rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo stainless steel frets (100% life left) provides a responsive surface for both chords and single-note lines. The 12" radius and 42mm nut width offer familiar spacing and comfort, ideal for players transitioning between classic and modern guitars.

Tonally, the RSS20 delivers a wide palette thanks to its VH5 humbuckers: an Alnico V neck pickup paired with an Alnico V bridge pickup. A 5-position lever selector, master volume, and master tone with push-pull Focus Switch allow precise control over pickup combinations and tonal character, offering everything from warm, creamy cleans to aggressive, cutting overdrive tones.

In excellent all-original condition, this Revstar plays beautifully with straight neck, smooth action, and no fretwear of note. The gloss finish remains vibrant, highlighting the maple top and chambered mahogany back, and the hardware is clean and fully functional.
