The EVH Striped Series Frankie is a faithful tribute to Eddie Van Halen’s most famous guitar — the instantly recognisable “Frankenstrat” — combining the unmistakable red, white and black striped finish with road-worn relic touches for authentic rock ‘n’ roll character. Built in Mexico in 2021, this model brings the legendary look and feel of Eddie’s original stage companion into the hands of players who want the vibe, tone and playability without the high price tag. The lightweight basswood body keeps the guitar resonant and comfortable at just 3.3kg, while the relic finish tells a story of countless imaginary arena gigs.

The neck is a quartersawn maple masterpiece with a modified “C” profile that feels fast yet substantial in the hand, paired with an oiled finish for an effortlessly broken-in feel. The 25.5" full scale and compound 12-16" radius maple fingerboard (with black dot inlays) give you the best of both worlds — easy chord work down low and a flat, shred-friendly surface up high. Jumbo frets make bending and vibrato smooth and precise, while the 42.8mm nut and Floyd Rose locking system ensure stable tuning through even the most aggressive dive bombs. It’s a neck built for high-octane rock performance, but refined enough for articulate lead work.

Electronics are stripped down to the essentials, just as Eddie preferred. A single direct-mount EVH® Wolfgang® humbucker in the bridge pumps out 13.3kOhms of pure rock fury, delivering thick, harmonically rich tones with plenty of bite. The simplicity of a single volume knob means nothing gets in the way of your playing, while the Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo unlocks the full spectrum of Eddie-style pitch gymnastics without sacrificing tuning stability. In mint factory origial condition, this guitar has barely had a handful of notes played on it and has lived in its case for the past 4 years. It has been professionally setup with 10-46s and is playing like a dream with perfect frets and spot-on intonation. This model doesn't ship with a hard case from the factory, but included as a bonus in the sale is an EVH Striped Series case valued at over $300. Also included is the original paperwork.
