Made by the Fujigen factory some time in the 90s based off the features of this guitar, this '62 reissue is another quality offering from Fender Japan capturing the spirit and essence of an early 60s Strat in a super sweet, well played-in and relic'd vibe with plenty of dings, chips, scratches and wear and tear that make this Strat a serious stage warrior with some stories to tell!

Finished in a deep candy apple red finish, this guitar has obviously seen a lot of stages with the back of the maple neck has been stripped of its finish long ago, revealing the beautifully grained maple wood and allowing the player to feel every nuance of the bare neck; if you've ever played a guitar that has no finish on the neck, it feels fantastic and offers a very unique playing experience! As well as this, the finish has plenty of wear; chips, dings and scratches revealing the sparkly metallic layer beneath the red, and in many spots more bare wood. '62 features are honoured with accuracy here and the guitar features a 3 ply white guard, pressed saddles and vintage style tuners. The guitar is completely factory original aside from a replaced tremolo arm and sports a trio of Japanese made AlNiCo pickups that sound absolutely fantastic and offer beautiful single coil tone for days.

Frets are at about 80% with plenty of life left and the guitar has been freshly serviced and professionally setup with 10-46s and is playing like a dream. Comes with its original Fender gig bag!

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $8.99 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
