The DP500 is an 88-note digital piano housed in a beautifully crafted spinet cabinet with a rosewood-look finish, a soft-closing fallboard and traditional piano pedals. Arranger Styles

With a 5-track mixer, you can create real-time arrangements with interactive patterns in a variety of musical genres, putting a whole backing band at your fingertips. Build arrangements with easy-play single-finger notes or fully voiced chords.

Performance Assistant

Works with piano and guitar sounds to embellish your performance and produce idiomatic voicings. Guitar Mode helps you sound like a guitarist, producing strums, broken chords and echoism. Piano Mode helps you achieve difficult piano techniques such as piano rhythms, broken chords, phrases and endings.

Keyboard Modes

Split and Layer keyboard modes allow you to use 2 different sounds at the same time. Split the keyboard for left- and right-hand parts, such as bass and piano, or layer 2 sounds across the whole keyboard, such as piano and strings. Dual (Twinova) mode splits the keyboard in half and mirrors the same octave range on both sides, perfect for teaching. Transpose allows you to play a familiar song in a different key without changing your hand positions on the keyboard.

Song Recorder

Record your own performances with 6 tracks per song: 5 instrument tracks plus 1 accompaniment track. Songs can be saved directly to a USB device or computer.

Learning

The DP500 has 60 music library lesson songs that you can practise in 3 modes: left hand, right hand and both hands. Lesson Mode evaluates your performance and gives you a score based on pitch, timing and overall performance, so you can monitor your development.

Chord Dictionary

If you don't know how to play a chord, simply look it up in the Chord Dictionary. It also has Chord Learning and Chord Examination modes to help you expand your knowledge.
