Since its debut in 2019, the X700 Duality achieved its global success thanks to its excellent balance of sleek styling, superb versatility, high quality components, and world class craftsmanship. With the addition of the latest Fishman® Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker set and a truly unique 5-way pickup switching system, Cort takes the new X700 Duality II to a new higher level of all-around performance, making it more versatile and enjoyable to play than ever before.
Flamed Maple Top on Mahogany Body
The flamed maple top on a mahogany body ensures a great balance between warm yet full sounding lows and bright and transparent highs that will cut through the mix with authority.
Fishman® Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker Set
Fishman® Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker pickups now incorporate a new 3rd voice – Single Coil. Wound humbuckers, when “split” to create a single coil sound, can be weak and unconvincing. The new Voice 3 is a truly authentic single coil tone that only Fluence technology can deliver.
Unique Wiring
Using the Fishman® Fluence Open Core Classic pickups to its full potential, the simple yet versatile control layout provides all the sounds the player needs while allowing the player to focus on playing and making music.

Cort® CFA-III Tremolo
The hardware also has a significant influence on the acoustic characteristics of the guitar and the X700 Duality II features the Cort CFA-III Tremolo System with metal injection molding manufacturing technique with stainless steel used on the saddle, bridge plate and the block for a big, solid, bold and articulate sound as well as enhanced sustain. The recessed tremolo bridge allows for pull-ups to raise the pitch as well as pushing down for lowering the pitch, providing further tremolo versatility.
Ebony Fingerboard
There are many types of woods that are used for fingerboard but no other compares to the jet-black beauty and slick smoothness of Ebony.
3pcs Maple & Panga Panga Neck
The strength and brightness of Maple is ideally balanced with the warm midrange of Panga Panga, resulting in superb playability, feel and tonal definition.
Stainless Steel Frets
Stainless steel frets boast excellent resistance to corrosion. The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response, good articulation when playing chords and a clear tone when playing single notes.
Cort® Staggered Locking Tuners
The locking tuners provide superb tuning stability by eliminating string slippage at the posts while facilitating quick string changes.
Luminlay Side Dots
The Luminlay side dot position marks make it easy for players to see the fretboard position markers when performing on dark stages.
'Next Gen' Cort Logo
The modern and sleek design of the ‘Next Gen’ Cort logo was developed and applied to perfectly complement the aggressive styling of the X and KX Series.
