Rooted in generations of D’Addario string-making expertise, Pro-Arte Nylon is our archetypal classical set. The bass strings are made with a multifilament nylon core and wound with silver-plated copper, for an exceptionally warm and consistent response. Coupled with clear nylon treble strings, which deliver sweet, mellow highs, Pro-Arte Nylon gives you the sound and feel that has come to define classical guitar. Normal tension is our best-selling tension, preferred for the balance of rich tone, comfortable feel and dynamic projection. Pro-Arte, the world’s most popular classical strings, are D’Addario’s premium classical guitar string sets. All Pro-Arte treble strings are sorted by a sophisticated computer-controlled laser machine that performs diameter and tension measurements, ensuring true-sounding, precise trebles in every set. Pro-Arte basses are wound using silver-plated copper on a multifilament nylon core for consistent, warm-yet-projecting tone.
