Danelectro Longhorn Bass Black Short Scale

First released by Danelectro in 1958, the Longhorn is a short scale bass with loads of quirky style, very fast and short 24 fret neck and a dual set of lipstick single coils delivering some very unique and harmonic bass tones for days! A surprisingly comfortable bass to play sitting down or standing up, there are definitely no basses that come close to this if you want a really quirky and unique bass to pump out some lo-fi tones or some garage punk rock.

This one has had a professional service and setup with 45-100s and is in really nice original condition. The bass has mild signs of wear throughout but no chips or dings in the finish. Frets are a good 90% with virtually no wear. The outer white tape has been removed so this is a gothic Danelectro bass in a blackout finish. Comes with a gig bag!

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $12 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
