Early 1970s Greco Jazz Bass JB-380 3 Tone Sunburst (MIJ)

Made by Matsumoku group in the early 70s, the JB-380 was the not-so-Jazz Jazz Bass copy that shared many similarities with it's Fender counterpart, however differed in many ways! Featuring a dual set of Maxon "mini-humbuckers" (that are actually single coils in disguise), a sen ash body and a bound maple neck with block perloid inlays, these were Fender Jazz Bass killers in the 70s and for a good reason.

The sound and playability of these basses is absolutely fantastic, and this one is no exception. The Maxon pickups offer a unique twist to the standard Jazz Bass tonal palette and bring some very dynamic and interesting tones to the table, whilst the chunky neck with a rather flat radius feels great in the hands and offers a superb low action with no buzzing or dead spots.

Freshly setup with 45-100s, this bass underwent a full service and restoration including a cut and polish of the beautiful 3 tone sunburst finish, a Switchcraft output jack, as well as new screws and a deep clean. It's also had a level, crown and polish of the frets so it's playing at its absolute best! Comes with a gig bag!
