Made by the Legendary Maton Guitars in Canterbury in the early 2000s, this Mastersound MS2000 DLX is a premium version over the standard solid body Mastersound guitar and features a blackwood carved solid top, queensland maple body and maple neck, a dual set of Maton "Bad Boy" humbuckers (that totally rip) and a host of other premium appointments that make this a truly epic offset double cut weapon!

The rock maple neck has a very Gibson-esque "slim taper" feel to it that feels very familiar to anyone who has played a Gibson and sports 22 jumbo frets for players that enjoy the feeling of larger frets. The Indian rosewood fingerboard has a beautiful grain to it that contrasts very nicely with the pearloid block inlays and the guitar is equipped with a freshly installed bone nut that holds tuning stability perfectly and sets the string height to perfection.

Freshly serviced with 10-46s, this Mastersound is in incredible condition with only very slight evidence of playwear and a few small dings here and there. It's had a fresh level, crown and polish as well as a professional service and is playing like an absolute dream. Comes with a genuine Maton fitted hard case!

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $8.99 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
