Established in 1984 by Satoshi “Kei” Yatsuzuka (founder of Headway Co., Ltd. and Deviser Co., Japan), Riverhead guitars and basses were produced in Japan and exported to 50 countries all over the world, mainly the United States, Canada and Europe among others. Various electric guitar and bass models such as the Wizard Series, Jerk Series, Phantom Series, Jupiter Series, RS Series, and Unicorn Series gained popularity among professional musicians for quality, sound, and cutting-edge design.

This is a beautiful and super cool Steinberger L2 style headless bass made in the early 1980s and is perfect for anyone who can't quite reach to the astronomical prices the original 80s L2s are getting to these days. Alder body with a maple neck, it weighs a nimble 2.9kg and is loaded with a dual set of soapbar pickups that have a solid frequency range and sound fantastic cranked up! Built to extremely high standards in Riverhead's Japanese factory, the hardware loadout on this bass is of great quality and all of the clamps, screws and adjusters turn perfectly without issue.

Fully serviced and setup with 45-100s, this bad boy has a slinky action with a nice straight neck and solid playability. The bass is free from any chips, dings or structural issues and is 100% original. Frets are at a solid 99% with virtually no wear at all. Comes with its original leather fitted gig bag!
