Made in partnership with the Gibson™ Custom Shop, the 1958 Explorer™ is Epiphone’s impressive recreation of one of the most famous and valuable vintage guitars ever made. It brings authentic 1958 Explorer details to guitarists everywhere at a breakthrough price. Like the ultra-rare original Gibson models from 1958, it features a Korina body and a Korina neck with a long neck tenon and a 1958 Explorer neck profile. It is also equipped with an Indian laurel fretboard and gold hardware. The electronics are also top-notch, with Gibson Burstbucker™ 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups wired to individual volume controls and a master tone control with CTS® pots and a Mallory™ capacitor, along with a Switchcraft® 3-way pickup selector switch and 1/4” output jack. An Epiphone x Gibson Custom logo on the back of the headstock is also proudly displayed, and a hard-shell case is also included.

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.
