A highly desirable offering from the golden age of Fujigen-era production, this is a beautifully crafted '66 Reissue Fender Jaguar complete with matching candy apple red headstock! Presented in excellent condition, this Jag has all the classic styling you could desire for your Shadows or Beach Boys cover band - it not only looks amazing but it is an incredibly player and is packed with the surfiest of surf tones from its single coil pickups.

Neck wise, specs are very close to mid-60s measurements with a slim D maple neck finished in a tinted high gloss with a laminate rosewood fingerboard, just as it would've been in 1966. Narrow vintage frets and a 7.25" fingerboard give that classic playability, and the frets show some evidence of playwear with light pitting and approximately 80% life left. 

Electronics are all original and the beating heart of this '66 Reissue is the vintage style alinco single coils that pump out classic 60s surf rock tones all day long. If surf rock isn't your thing, this pickups offer excellent versatility and will be right at home with punk and 90s rock tones as well. 

In excellent condition for its 30-odd year vintage, the guitar does exhibit signs of playwear in the form of light chips, dings and swirls on the finish, however all is honest wear and very minor. Hardware is free from rust and corrosion and the electronics work perfectly. Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, it's playing silky smooth with a nice low action and accurate intonation. Comes with its original gig bag (sans zipper).

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $8.99 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
