Tool fans unite! No this isn't the $20,000 scratched up signature model, this one has been spared the intentional aging, scratching and drilling one might pay to have that level of "authentic" experience. Instead this is an incredibly tidy, entirely unmodified Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom in the incredibly desirable Silverburst finish.

Hand finished and assembled in Nashville, the Gibson Custom Shop spares no details and this guitar is a masterful example of the inimitable Les Paul Custom in every aspect. The guitar has enough binding to do a lap of the planet, it has a perfectly thick but not overly chunky 24.75" neck, and the 490R and 498T pickups absolutely scream and howl when pushed through a high-gain amplifier.

This example in completely unmolested and has only minor signs of playwear which includes some honest scuffing and minor fret pitting. There are also signs of lacquer checking in all the usual spots you'd expect. There are no cracks, breaks or structural issues. The guitar is perfectly broken in and has just been professionally setup with 10-46s and a nice low-medium action. Should be good for another 10,000 days at least.

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
