The HNS1 features the sleek HILS NS body shape—ergonomic, compact and designed to feel natural in any playing position. It's lightweight at 6lbs without ever sounding thin, and keeps things functional and simple where it matters. In addition to strong and lightweight construction, the HNS1 sports a dual-locking headpiece, standard 6-saddle hardtail bridge and roller-bearing tuning barrels to deliver stable tuning with effortless adjustments.

A 25.5" scale, maple C-shape neck (42mm nut width) and compound-radius (12" to 15.75") rosewood fretboard create a fast yet controlled playing surface, with extra jumbo stainless-steel frets that stay slick and durable for years.

For real-world versatility, Alnico V single coils in the neck and middle deliver warm, expressive, vintage-leaning clarity, while a ceramic humbucker in the bridge brings power, punch and cut when you step on the drive—all selectable via 5-way switching.

Finished in satin ruby red with a smooth-feeling neck and a hardtail bridge you can trust, the HNS1R comes with a deluxe gig bag included. Parchment pickguards are also available separately in our Parts and Accessories area.

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $12 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
