The AD200 is Orange’s flagship bass amp head, built on the idea that the best tone comes from the shortest possible signal path. Driven by four KT88 valves pushing 200W, it delivers deep, dynamic low end and warm, rich mids, with inputs for both active and passive instruments and a clean switch to hold off the crunch when you need pristine tone at high volume. A redesigned output transformer harnesses more power at low frequencies for extra punch, while individual bias pots and increased user-serviceability make it as easy to maintain as it is to play. A brand-new output transformer, with 3 inches of laminations, harnesses double the power at 30Hz, offering better response at low frequencies.

Features:

  • Single-channel, all-valve design with active and passive inputs
  • Clean switch to back off Orange’s classic high-gain fuzz at volume
  • Redesigned output transformer for improved low-frequency response and punch
  • Individual bias pots for running mismatched valve sets
  • Rugged, road-ready, user-serviceable build

Specifications:

  • Output Power: 200W
  • Power Amp Valves: 4 × KT88 (6550 Compatible)
  • Preamp Valves: 2 × ECC83/12AX7, 1 × ECC81/12AT7
  • Speaker Outputs: 1 × 8Ω, or 1 × 4Ω, or 2 × 8Ω cabinets
