The new Orange Distortion pedal looks like a straight reboot of the 1970s original, right down to the chunky aluminium shellโ€”but under the hood, the circuitry has been rebuilt from the ground up. Out goes the originalโ€™s back-to-back diode design, replaced with an amp-style circuit and tone stack for all the bite, growl and warmth of classic โ€™70s amp distortion, from vintage crunch to full saturation, controlled by just two dials for level and depth. MEET THE NEW DISTORTION PEDAL: Same as the old Orange Distortion pedalโ€”at least thatโ€™s how it seems on the outside. Add in a hardwired switch thatโ€™s separate from the PCB and therefore super-easy to service, and youโ€™ve got a vintage pedal fit for the modern age.

Features:

  • Amp-style circuit with tone stack (preset bass/mids, user-adjustable treble trimmer)
  • Two-dial control: level and depth
  • LED indicator and 9V DC input
  • Buffered bypass
  • Hardwired switch, separate from the PCB, for easy servicing

Specifications:

  • Controls: Level, Depth
  • Power: 9V DC
