Together these Quarter Pound bass pickups provide a sonically full voice with a hold on to your hats high-output punch. Each strike of the string provides a full low-end bite with plenty of sustain. They’ve provided their unique punch for bass players from Blink 182, Alien Ant Farm, Rise Against, Bad Religion and Smashing Pumpkins. Players who have a P-J bass will now be able to get the rich tone of the Quarter Pound pickups with our P-J 4-string Bass Set. The Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass was designed to deliver hot output, great attack, and massive attitude. The quarter-inch diameter poles and intense coil winding deliver a full, even response, with great sustain and sonic richness. The magnets on the Quarter Pound P-bass pickup expand the magnetic field and extend the frequency ranges for a fat, full, punchy sound with tremendous mid-range presence and maximum output. Though often used for heavy rock tones, this pickup set offers amazing tonal versatility, making it a favorite across the board in live and studio settings. These pickups shine in classic rock, hard rock, punk, grunge and metal applications. For more versatility you can add a 2 or 3 band tone circuit. Each pickup is hand built in Santa Barbara, California.

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
