Built in Corona, California during the highly regarded Strat Plus era, this 1993 example captures everything players love about the series: exceptional playability, noiseless performance, and unmistakable Fender styling. Finished in a rich Midnight Wine with a pearloid pickguard and maple fingerboard, it delivers unmistakable early-’90s Strat Plus character.

The alder body provides classic Fender resonance with excellent balance and sustain, while the one-piece maple neck offers the smooth, comfortable playing feel these instruments are known for. Featuring a modern 9.5" radius, 25.5" scale length and medium jumbo frets, the neck feels fast and effortless without losing the familiar Stratocaster ergonomics. Fret life is solid here at 95% with minimal wear and the satin-worn feel of naturally aged maple combined with Fender’s precise early-’90s USA craftsmanship makes for an exceptionally comfortable and stable instrument.

Electronics consist of the sought-after Lace Sensor single coil configuration, delivering articulate Strat clarity with dramatically reduced noise. The neck pickup provides warm, rounded tones ideal for blues and lead work, the middle captures classic Strat-style chime and quack, while the hotter bridge adds extra output and mid-range punch for rock and heavier driven tones. Combined with Fender’s TBX tone circuit and 5-way selector, the Strat Plus offers an impressively versatile tonal palette ranging from glassy cleans to saturated lead sounds.

Additional premium appointments include Fender/Schaller locking tuners and the original Wilkinson roller nut, providing excellent tuning stability and smooth tremolo operation. Presented in excellent vintage condition, the guitar is all original with only light signs of honest use consistent with age. This guitar has been professionally setup with D'Addario 10-46s and plays cleanly with comfortable low action and stable tuning throughout.
