Bass VI’s are powerful, unique instruments that bridge the space between the playability of a guitar and the low-end power of a bass. But there’s one big problem with Bass VIs—it’s next to impossible to find good strings for them.

Not only are Bass VI string sets hard to find, but the sets that you can find are usually completely out of whack with respect to tension—the middle is has a bit too much tension, and the bottom has far too little.

Well, with Stringjoy Bass VI strings, we addressed all those long-standing issues to come up with a string set that is meant to play and sound perfect on the Bass VI. All Stringjoy Bass VI strings are Nickel Wound, and feature normal guitar-sized ball ends.

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $12 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.
